Typically a new client will phone me with one or two chief complaints, and will schedule a good time for me to drop by to make a quick diagnosis of what issues they are experiencing. Sometimes the solution to their problem is very time consuming; as such, I offer a discounted rate to take their machine and work off site, and return it to them within 24 to 48 hours. This is usually the preferred course of action.
Sometimes new or current clients aren’t even having any big problems at all; they just need some guidance with software they’re using, or a direction with which purchase is right for them.
The benefit to being one of my clients is that I am very well versed in many different areas of information technology. I consider myself a jack-of-all-trades; I bring a wealth of experience from a broad spectrum practice that allows me to cater to anyones needs. You’ll be hard-pressed to find me in a situation without an answer to one of your questions; and while of course it does happen once in a while (very rarely), a little research is a quick fix to that!
